Cultivating a Good Heart

The following is an excerpt from a teaching by Jetsunma Ahkon Lhamo during a “Good Heart Retreat”

Seriously, I do feel that there’s something wrong with the way we’re practicing religion. I really do feel that it is the job of spiritual people, who have as a centerpiece in their religion the idea of […]

Astrology for 3/26/2015

3/26/2015 Thursday by Norma

Have fun talking or driving around early in the day because nothing significant happens until later on, when the energy changes and emotional or familial matters come to the forefront. You must be quite careful to neither give nor take offense today. Remember the big picture, think of what you are […]

Let's Get Practical

Let’s Get Practical

The following is an excerpt from a teaching by Jetsunma Ahkon Lhamo offered during a “Good Heart Retreat”

Astrology

A process of coming down to earth is happening.  You are recognizing the reality that surrounds you and it may not be as you wish.  You must face some hard facts about the situation you are in.  An authority figure can’t or won’t help you.  Perhaps the situation must change, and perhaps it is you who must change.  You have the wisdom to understand this today.  A solid, workable plan can be formulated that will succeed.  Three planets in Scorpio bring you face to face with death; the death of dreams, of times and people.  Say good-bye to the past, to what was, and open the door to now, to what is.  If you are an adult, the world won’t treat you as your parents did.  This is both good and bad news, and it’s your job to understand why.  The ball is in your court, and what you do is up to you.  Gene Hill said, “When you fall in a river, you’re no longer a fisherman; you’re a swimmer.”  You’re in the river now.  Swim!

The daily astrology post affects everyone. Because individual charts vary, the circumstances outlined in the post will affect people differently. Some will feel this energy in the personal arena, some in finances, some with children or family, some in work and so forth. There are many departments of life. Look to see where the dynamic affects you!
