Still reeling from a sudden change? Relax, it’s in the rear view mirror, behind you. It is possible to hit cruising altitude today where all you have to do is sit back and enjoy the scenery. But before you do, please inform others of alterations in policy so their time isn’t wasted. (“Oops! We changed our entire accounting system and forgot to tell you, the accountant! You need to redo it.”). Respect the fact that others are working as hard as you. Alexander the Great said, “Remember: Upon the conduct of each depends the fate of all.” What’s good today? A work project that is making good progress, medical procedures that are successful, a diet and exercise program that is successful, and a problem that is resolved. People’s thinking is reality-based and results in good planning and execution. Co-workers are wonderful.
