Theme: Intelligence

Today especially, the Sun unites with the astroid Pallas Athena giving us some special qualities. Intelligence, strength of character and courage are enhanced. This also favors creative endeavors. This continues to be a time of heightened mental stimulation, and the need for excitement in relationships. We need to watch our temper during the early to mid day time period as the Moon opposes Mars.

Theme: Mental Stimulation

Mercury is almost up to full speed ahead, and it trines with Uranus for a few days. We are stimulated mentally, and have enhanced intuition, but not so much patience and diligence. It is a good time to break your routine, and science, technology and travel are favored. Venus squares Uranus at the same time indicating restlessness to the point where some will pick a fight in relationships. Best to be aware of the need for excitement, and not take this too seriously.

Theme: Boundlessness

With the Moon conjunct Neptune opposite Mercury – communications are vague and imprecise – in fact the less said the better. Rather, spend your time in spiritual reflection and practice. Theme: Stretching in all directions

Theme: Sorting through

With the Sun in Libra you can make decisions about things – albeit considered decisions. But give yourself a time limit- otherwise you’ll be stuck in the bardo of being undecided and you could be there for a very long time! The Moon in Aquarius trine Jupiter gives you an expanded view of things right now and an ability to see the big picture. But with Moon square Jupiter you also feel overloaded. This feeling can be reframed: you can remind yourself of the wish to be of benefit and the art of the possible.

Theme: Intense Emotions

For much of the day the Moon is united with Pluto which not only intensifies emotions, but gives clear insight into them. Can we be true to our values during this time? Venus and Mars harmonize for two more weeks. This favors forming and maintaining relationships, general socializing and financial opportunities. The Sun is inconjunct Saturn today, which indicates responsibilities can seem burdensome until we make an adjustment in our approach.

Theme: Down to Earth

Especially during the middle of the day, there is a grand trine in earth signs involving the Moon, Mercury and Jupiter. This is a nice combination, giving us sensitivity and a broad overview concerning our thinking and communications. We are practical, ambitious, and comfort oriented. With the Sun joining Mars in Libra for the next 2 1/2 weeks we are focused on how we relate to others, and we seek beauty and harmony.

Theme: On the Other Hand…

Late in the evening the Sun enters Libra today, so happy birthday all Libras. Indecisiveness is a common theme, as Libras weigh the scales and can have difficulty choosing. Tensions arise, particularly in the second half of the day as the Moon makes a square aspect to the sun. Small crises arise or perhaps if we are lucky we just feel a burst of energy. The Moon enters Capricorn, and we become colder and more ambitious late in the day.

Theme: Considered communication

With the Moon square Mercury, the planet ruling communication, expect some misunderstandings followed by the the need to be patient and work through the situation. An open minded response can help enormously. The Sun is pulling away from its trine with Pluto but the energy of that aspect is still engaged, including being able to draw from a deep inner resource to access energy and insights. Enjoy the last day of the Sun in Virgo.
