Theme: Hug a furry friend

Nurturing self and others is the theme today but don’t argue about it. Remember to go gently and softly.  A sense of expansion and inter-connectedness is possible. We are are not separate. Some of us need to understand that space by hugging a bear – not a live one! Or your dog, or momentarily your cat. Love comes in many forms. From A. A. Theme: Big picture versus small picture

Mercury moves into Sagittarius today emphasizing an upbeat approach to communication. But be careful not to gloss over details. Sometimes the devil is in the details. Theme: Intellectual curiosity and event planning

Begin exploring different ways of doing and thinking today. That includes mental gym and body gym. Relationships of all sorts are more spontaneous and unexpected – even disruptive! Disruption helps re-set us if we allow it. Consider harnessing your natural generosity through good food gatherings which bring people together. Hopefully you have more time for this than the Road Runner escaping Wile E. Coyote!

Theme: Emotional well-being versus sense of purpose

The question for today is how to balance emotions with purpose in the outer world. Sometimes they can be the opposite side of the same coin – one aids the other. There is a measure of resilience and strength in the air. Unconscious drivers come to the surface which you can channel well.  As Shantideva advises: ‘Wherever, and whenever and whatever you are doing, for your sake or the sake of others, implement with diligence the teachings given for that siutation.’

Theme: The getting of wisdom

The theme of justice for all continues. Robin Hood was radical for his time in pursuing a form of income equality. Overdoing things is a risk today – whatever you like you tend to overdo! Jampal & Wangmo are thinking buffet today! The getting of wisdom comes in small bites well digested.  That includes emotional wisdom.  The Moon in Taurus invites a focus on creature comforts.

Theme:  Justice rules with new insights.

Disruptions occur in your relationships which catalyze adjustments in your thinking. Then, things will go more smoothly.  It is a headstrong day today, with unexpected twists and turns.  If you find yourself butting heads think of the consequences. Consider taking time out to be in nature and rejuvenate. As Raymond Burr says: “Try and live your life the way you wish other people would live theirs.”

Theme: Energetic relationships.

The moon enters the sign of Aries today bringing vim and vigor – and a bit of a combative spirit. You could consider playing your favorite sport today rather than mud wrestling with your mind or your loved ones. Relationships can be a bit unpredictable today but not overly. Could that be partly the sugar-lows of a post-Halloween party? If not it’s just dealing with the unpredictability of continual change. There are always opportunities in that space. As Michel Jordan said: “Always turn a negative situation into a positive situation.”

A person or incident shapes your view of the world today by challenging you in a good way. Don’t be afraid of challenges. Sometimes we are called to step up to the plate when we don’t feel we’re quite ready – but we are!  It’s kind of like a subtle inner alignment to enable one to leave the past behind – a past that has been preventing you from moving forward. As Alice in Wonderland said: “It’s no use going back to yesterday, because I was a different person then.”

A good day to connect with the water element and spiritual sustenance.  Your emotions and sense of purpose are in harmony. It’s a good week to travel – and as well today – explore the meaning of life and the universe. Smell the roses and meditate on the sky. As Gautama Buddha said: Three things cannot be long hidden: the sun, the moon, and the truth.
