Astrology

One hurdle has been successfully overcome, and another is waiting.  Men and women are at odds today, and two sides are present that won’t come together.  It’s necessary to make concessions, each side must give up something, for consensus to be reached. If you are emotionally upset, try to see the other side’s position.  Why?  Because you can’t win, and you will just look foolish if you keep pushing for your way.  Do go to the movies, be creative, go for a swim, go dancing, do something that gets you moving and gets your mind off the issue.  Have fun.

What Are We?

The wind is picking up. Funny, I know the Science of wind, but I still don’t know what it IS.  I know the Science of water, but still don’t understand it.

I feel the difference between hot and cold, yet it seems not a part of me. So who is ME?  The perception?  The molecules moving at variegated speeds and patterns?  What commonality between the warm and cool?  Space.  How can I perceive space as warm and cool?  What is perception?  Sight, smell, feel, etc, may have what we think are corresponding organs, yet they are also molecules floating in essentially empty space. Cool, warm, sight, sound.  What IS THIS and what are we?

Molecules, space, perception.  The first movement or absolute void nature.  Pristine is the display of Bodhicitta, the inherent luminousity that is the primal movement of pristine uncontrived emptiness.

You could mouth off and offend someone.  Go back and apologize. A feisty emotional attitude is in the air, and someone could need coddling.  A firm “no” could meet your plans early in the day. Don’t worry, the situation will change if you go back, re-work your presentation, and try again.  Your mind is shrewder, deeper, and less vulnerable to indecision these days.  You can see what lies beneath the situation and respond accordingly.  Success is near in something that is being built.  Be nice, treat others with kindness. Margaret Cho said, “Sometimes when we are generous in small, barely detectable ways, it can change someone’s life forever.”  This is a possibility, today.

You could have trouble making up your mind early in the day. Two options are present, and you just can’t decide which is preferable.  The general rule here is that when you can’t make up your mind, the best option hasn’t appeared.  So, wait.  Later in the day a decision comes easily.   A lazy, dreamy, eccentric emotionality is present in you.  This later changes, and you are energized.  Beware of charging into a roadblock.  Your temptation is to try to ram your way through any obstacles, but don’t do this.  The obstacle is stronger than you and it must be carefully worked out.  You may need to look for an entirely different route, that’s how firm the obstacle is. No problem, you’re still riding a wave of successful activity.

Love from the past is still coming back, and you can be successful engaging in activity you’ve done before.  An excellent aspect auguring success comes your way during the next week.   It is all systems go, action!  Your energy is strong, and when you start moving you don’t stop until you have attained your goal.  A fighting spirit is present, and you have the power to protect yourself and others.  You are formidable!  Margaret Cho said, “I have learned to love that which is meant to harm me, so that I can stand in the way of those who are less strong.  I can take the bullets for those who aren’t able to.”  You can too, today.

The Blessing of Tsog, the Ritual Food Feast

Tsog or the ganachakra feast is very important to us.  It’s a way to connect body, speech and mind, using body, speech and mind.  During tsog, we make physical offerings, we recite mantra and we keep our minds stable in the practice. So the ganachakra feast has these three levels of practice.

A ganachakra feast is a celebration, a kind of banquet to all of the Buddhas, bodhisattvas and precious gurus. But it is also taking the food into ourselves as a blessing in order to honor the Buddha nature that is within us. So our own internal guru, our own enlightened nature, experiences the ganachakra feast as well. Although for most of us our Buddha nature is pretty clouded over, during Tsog we acknowledge the presence of the Buddha seed within us. The purpose of Tsog and all practice is to clear the way, like cleaning the windows so the sunlight can come in.

This is an excellent day on two fronts!  First, imagination, artistry and creativity combine with partnership opportunities.  Doctors are good, and healing is present.  Ideas, new strategies, and all planning go well.  Next, you can make investments and financial decisions that are excellent.  The god of action is friendly toward the gods of innovation and expansion!  Move forward!  Make the decision and go!  Don’t look back, don’t long for the past, and look to the future.  Dr. Seuss said, “Don’t cry because it’s over.  Smile because it happened.”  Face forward.

Something along the lines of accidentally revealing a secret while holding an open microphone.  Oops.  The earlier this happens, during the day, the better.  It’s a good day to stay in, until the time to make a mistake passes.  You’re still involved in loves from the past.  Secrets prevail.  You may hear a secret or you may reveal a secret.  The more secret something is, the better you like it!  You feel naughty.  Have fun, but remember that you have to face the world eventually, so don’t be too outrageous.

Nothing much happens early in the day.  Then a definite change of energy occurs, and you move forward.  An electrical current seems to be in the air, magnetizing and stimulating things.  Your mind and emotions are stimulated, and you can invent something or come up with a new way of doing things.  On a different front, old loves are coming back into the picture.  Something you cared for is returning to you.  Take advantage of the opportunity to “do over” something you’ve already finished.  A pleasant, happy, situation is in the air.  Reach out to those you love, call, write, email, tell them!  It’s never too late to say, “I always meant to tell you…” and then say it, the thing you always wanted to say.  You won’t be sorry.
