Theme: Intensity

There are three planets in Scorpio (Mercury, Sun and Venus) plus the Moon. There are deep pressures for change right now and getting to the bottom of situations. It’s a painful but powerful period. The benefic influence of Jupiter is still at play counteracting, or at least modifying negativity. The Sun is trine Saturn and Neptune – and opposite Uranus – providing grist for both outward progress and inner change. Theme: Insights

The Sun and Jupiter’s trine aspect to Saturn/Neptune softens the difficulties of this aspect, opening up terrain not previously explored: in other words, the trine opens up possibilities concerning what appears immovable. Mercury retrograde means you have to double and triple check any documents. The Moon is square Jupiter today which can tip you over into excess if you’re not careful.

Theme: Receptive and Intuitive

Let’s focus on the water element that is strong these days. The Sun is in Scorpio, Jupiter is in Cancer and Saturn is in Pisces. They all harmonize in a water grand trine. We are more aware of what is going on at an emotional level than usual. The Moon continues in social Libra. And it will be a new Moon in a few days. Remember that we still have two weeks to go with Mercury retrograde. Jupiter, Saturn, Uranus and Neptune are also retrograde, making it a time for reflection more than action.

Theme: Good Fortune and Discipline

There continues to be the nice balancing effect of the Sun harmonizing with the great expanding planet, Jupiter and the restricting planet, Saturn. We tend to get fortunate breaks, and we tend towards discipline and self control to make the most of these opportunities. In the first half of the day we have to contend with strange moods. Our emotional sensitivity is unusually heightened. the Moon then enters Libra and we seek beauty and harmony.

Theme: Seeking Peace

Forward reversals!

With Mercury and now Jupiter retrograde there are opportunities to better understand the nature of these planetary energies. With Mercury retrograde the nature of communications requires increased mindfulness. With Jupiter retrograde the nature of good fortune is revealed to comprise past, present and future virtuous actions. Jupiter is also trine the Saturn/Neptune conjunction illuminating the nature of karmic and spiritual challenges.

Theme: Expansion

The Moon is conjunct Jupiter infusing the day with optimism, joy and idealism. Propitious opportunities are more likely to arise. As Mercury is retrograde it is a time for attending to details but getting them double checked. As Mercury approaches Mars by conjunction it is a good time for investigation and research. You may be asked to make decisive decisions but because Mercury is retrograde you also need to be particularly diligent about the ramifications about any decisions.
