If you’re nattering about money, you’re putting your energy in the wrong direction. You’ll spend too much time worrying and fail to notice a problem or a bill that’s come due. Friends and groups pull you out of a boxed-in mindset, so join in and hang out whether you want to or not. Happy talk is everywhere. Ralph Waldo Emerson said, “Don’t hang a dismal picture on the wall…Don’t be a cynic and disconsolate preacher. Don’t bewail and bemoan.” You are steadily pulling away from a problem, so keep moving. Take a lesson from what has happened, but don’t ruminate about the difficult parts. What’s good today? Quick action that averts trouble, fun, cheerfulness and sports.
