Theme: Finding stability in a sea of change

The Moon in Taurus offers us an opportunity to stabilize and ground ourselves. The placement of both Sun and Moon in Taurus is an antidote to the the lack of clarity we experience around structural issues bought about by Saturn’s placement in Pisces. There is some unsettlement around separation and dealing unexpected changes when the Moon transits Uranus towards the end of the day.

Theme: Finding ways to be generous

The Moon is conjunct the asteroid Ceres reminding us of the bounty of the earth and how by receiving that bounty we are also encouraged to give bountifully to sustain not only ourselves but all beings. In other words this conjunction reminds us of the interdependence of all life on this planet, and how nurturing and sustaining ‘others ‘pays it forward’ in so many ways. You continue to reassess your relationships at this time, and you can feel isolated from others (Venus conjunct Saturn). Putting concrete effort, with the right motivation, to nurture and support brings good results.

Theme: Immersion and connection

The Moon is in the water sign of Pisces for the next few days highlighting our connection with the heart and feelings generally. It can also signify the healing power of water. There is a boundless quality to Pisces that can be destabilizing if we have problems with our own internal boundaries and sense of self. On the plus side this lack of boundaries can be an entry way to a sense of spiritual oneness with all beings. The T-square between Mars, the Sun and Pluto reminds us to be on our guard for warring forces within us and outside of us, and invites us to continue seeking remedies to pacify the mind in this volatile time.

Theme: Dealing with rigidity and nobility

Theme: Which direction are you facing?

With Neptune situated between Mercury and Saturn your spiritual self is impacted by communication conundrums and worldly responsibilities. It’s hard to get a fix on things in these circumstances. The good thing about Mercury is that it’s a flexible planet and can help you think through seeming obstacles. Mars has moved into Leo promoting dignity and self-worth. The sign of Leo can be prideful: there is good pride and not-so-good pride. With both the Sun and Moon in fixed signs it’s more challenging to give ground.

Mars trine Saturn embodies both discipline and staying power. It can be a dynamic time building foundations step-by-step. There are no short-cuts with this aspect. Nevertheless effort produces good results. The Moon is trine Neptune today bringing an appreciation of beauty in everyday life. The Sun squares Mars for the next few days bringing a feisty more combative posture. See if you can channel that energy productively by bringing people with you. Otherwise take a hike!

Theme: How to steer a course?

With the North node conjunct Saturn, Mercury and Neptune you could be forgiven for feeling that the steering mechanism of your life is a bit on auto-pilot and you’re not sure where it’s taking you! Saturn and Neptune are such profoundly different planets that co-existence is almost an anathema except when it comes to cause and effect – where they are both heavy weights in the karmic result division. Saturn results tend to be immediate and clear while Neptune karmic results are slower and more amorphous over time. Both planets invite a process of letting go and mindfulness in order to move in the right direction.

The Moon in Scorpio is conjunct Vesta honing your focus on being of benefit to others through creative projects and attending your own spiritual needs.
