Theme: Antidotes

While the difficult conjunction of Saturn and Neptune continues Jupiter is currently the equalizer, beneficially off-setting the most difficult and challenging issues of this conjunction. Jupiter brings optimism in situations where there is despair and a wider perspective on the causes of suffering that is anchored in psychological antidotes. While Saturn is about cause and effect in a worldly sense Jupiter is about the merit we create for ourselves when we undertake virtuous activity. Neptune is what we make it. With Neptune, we can choose to go further into delusion and denial or surrender to an authentic spiritual path and guide.

Theme: Chatty

The Moon is in chatty Gemini so there are many conversations to be had but will they be meaningful? One thing is for sure there will be a lot of change in a short space of time regarding communications and local trips. Relationships with siblings or friends who are like siblings to you will be prominent. The Moon is full at 6.15pm today and everything leads up to that full moment. Theme: Emotional connectivity

Theme: Transformative relationships

Venus is trine Pluto enabling more depth and sustainability in relationships especially with the involvement of love and compassion. The Moon is in Taurus focusing attention on security, financial matters and self-care. As Taurus is ruled by Venus an appreciation of beauty and the benefit of grounded relationships is also emphasized. As Mercury is now direct communications are clearer. While Mercury remains in Scorpio there is still more information to be uncovered to assist with clearer communications.

Theme: Opening our hearts and minds

With a plethora of planets in Sagittarius including just recently moved-in Venus, it’s a great opportunity to open your eyes and look around at the bigger picture rather than getting into the weeds. Theme: Re-direction

Mercury will go direct in three days so you have a little more time to deal with mis-communication and misunderstandings if you rush things, or even if you don’t! In the meantime Saturn goes direct today beginning the shift forward for law and order and cause and effect. But first it must pass Neptune: it will conjunct Neptune exactly on February 20, 2026. So there’s a couple of months to go of this challenging conjunction of this odd-couple planetary pair but there is also much to prepare for the ending of this 36 cycle. For the beginning of a new cycle early next year ushers in a generational change in societal and earth-related structures and brings the hidden aspects of the psyche, including spirituality, to a new conscious level.

Theme: Oppositions and Trines

Venus and Mercury are opposite Uranus creates both unpredictability in relationships and mental tension. It’s important to be flexible and welcome change when it spontaneously arises. If you’re too rigid the energy can rebound. The Moon in Aquarius forms a T-square with this opposition which creates emotional challenges. Again, flexibility and inner flexibility is required. Venus forms a grand trine with Jupiter and Saturn softening challenges and creating a beneficial pathway forward.

Theme: Re-orienting

Mars is square the north-node which is like a personal inner wheel re-alignment, although the process can be testing. The part-of-fortune is close to Saturn off-setting the karma that inevitably ripens wherever this planet is located. Right now, Saturn is sitting in Pisces bringing hidden karma to the surface. The proximity of Neptune to Saturn means access to this hidden part of the psyche comes through spiritual self-examination. Self-delusion is a down-side of this placement that can be addressed through self-honesty.

Theme: Openings

The Moon has moved into Sagittarius creating an open-minded adventurous approach in daily life for the next couple of days. Today the Moon is conjunct Mars so emotions are more easily triggered today but, by the same token, you can also defend yourself more if needed. Mercury, the planet aiding communication and connections remains close to the Sun and a point in the heavens called the Dark Moon. The presence of the Dark Moon can bring difficult, shadow aspects of communication to the surface. Having a wider perspective on cause and effect helps with understanding what is arising.
