Theme: Wider connections

With Jupiter conjunct Neptune the world opens up and you see more clearly the connections we have with one another across countries and across the globe. Spiritual pursuits beckon more strongly as do acts of humanity, kindness and generosity. You need to be more discriminating about who can genuinely help you at this time and to avoid overly escaping from reality. With the Moon in Virgo there is a practical focus on daily life that can be grounding for the next couple of days especially so close to the full moon. When the eagle soars up, high above the ground, For a while its shadow is nowhere to be seen; Yet bird and shadow still are linked. Theme: Working within limitations

With the Moon opposite Saturn it’s time to be a Houdini and work within the limitations you find yourself dealing with. Yet, with Neptune in Pisces, there are endless possibilities for reformatting yourself and the situation you find yourself in. Restrictions are sometimes perceived (Neptune) and sometimes real (Saturn). Time to whip out the magnifying glass as the Moon moves into Virgo tomorrow inviting attention to details including the the choice of words in your communications. The sky unfolds, as bitter as it is in Gogol’s novellas. Echoing, the singing of people who gather the harvest. Echoing, the music of those who cart stones from the field. It’s both an intense day interspersed with moments of levity and connectedness. It’s important to make space for the latter. The Moon in Gemini combines both a light and a dark twin – both mercurial aspects of the self where change is a constant. The Sun in Pisces invites us to pause, reflect and connect with something bigger than ourselves, a compassionate beating heart that connects us to one another. Theme: Dancing

The Sun is cushioned by Jupiter and Neptune on either side giving us insight into our capacity to be insightful and generous. On the flip side we need to be more careful with boundaries and over doing it. With the Moon in Gemini short journeys and talking, talking, talking are more noticeable. Mercury moves into Pisces today bringing a sensitive approach to communications. Wisdom is knowing what to do next, virtue is doing it.~ David Starr Jordan

Theme: Tension and Respite

There is tension in finding an emotional balance today but rewards if you can find time-out to reflect and contemplate. In difficult times remembering to pause is helpful. With Pluto still engaged in restructuring our systems the remaining two year transit also signals the potential for our systems to be more aligned with healing the earth, including addressing climate change and revamping outdated structures. With Mercury conjunct Saturn it’s a good time to be mindful of your speech: stick to the facts and don’t embellish. This may prove harder for some than others! Theme: The chicken or the egg?
