Theme: From Ambitious to Humanitarian

The Moon goes from Capricorn to Aquarius during the middle of the day. We have tended to be ambitious and even cold hearted. Now we will be a bit intellectual about our feelings, but will be concerned about friendship and humanitarian values. In the second half of the day the Moon unites with Pluto which brings up powerful emotions. Mental energy is peaking today. Apply this mental prowess towards what is important now. Can we be patient and kind, but not a door mat?

Theme: Mental Energy

For several days Mercury is conjunct Mars which gives us abundant mental energy. This supports us in debating, but could lead to angry outbursts. We may even be prone to accidents due to our impatience. It is best to be prepared to be patient, but still have integrity with our point of view. The Moon is opposed to Jupiter especially in the first half of the day. We are broad-minded and generally feeling good. Avoid overdoing things, and arrogance during this time.

Theme: Ease

Especially in the middle of the day, there is a grand water trine with the Sun and Mercury, Jupiter and the Moon. We are more intuitive than usual. This supports having positive feelings and a sense of balance between our purpose and our emotions, our conscious and unconscious minds and our work and home life. The only down side of this combination is a tendency to overindulge. Close relationships continue to be a mixed bag.

Theme: Subjectivity

Mercury (retrograde) and the Sun are practically on top of each other in the sky today. This gives us the ability to focus intensely, but it limits our objectivity. Jupiter is making a harmonious angle to Mercury and the Sun today which is a very positive influence. What ever we undertake today should go well, and we will be thinking of big picture issues like religion, philosophy and foreign lands. Just remember to not overlook details.

Theme: A Mixed Bag

Venus, the planet of love and relationships, has entered Aries joining Neptune and Saturn in a tight stellium. The positive combination of Venus and Neptune can indicate a selfless union, or perhaps disappointments in relationships, if we are ungrounded in our expectations. Saturn brings some stark reality to the situation which could be beneficial or could indicate separation from one we love.

Theme: New and Exciting Relationships

With Venus sextile to Uranus for a few days we will seek a break from the normal routine. This energy will promote exciting social gatherings. New relationships may not last but if they do they will be life changing. At the same time there is still an expectation of disruptions, and of people being rash and impulsive. The Moon continues to move through Leo, but we experience some extra stress in the early morning.

Theme: Impulsive and Rash

The combination of Mars square Uranus continues for a few more days. If we have not let situations get opposed to our true wishes this may not be a rough time. But generally something has to give now, and we can explode with anger. Or if we are repressing ourselves accidents are likely. We are also likely to revolt from old relationships and authority figures. If we are aware of the need to make changes, new opportunities will come up. The Moon enters Leo today, which is a fixed fire sign and encourages play.

Theme: A Mystical, Magical Retrograde

It is not necessarily going to be an easy Mercury retrograde. Mercury goes backwards in the sign, Pisces, for about 3 weeks. Mystical and imaginative are positive takes on this placement. Confusion and low ego energy are negative ones. Mercury is conjunct Venus for a few days. We gain insight into the bigger picture of our lives. This combination of energy also stimulates our appreciation of the arts, and enhances the tendency to tell people how you feel about them (in a positive way).

Theme: Pleasant, Social and Intuitive

The trine between Venus and Jupiter is almost exact today, which has mostly beneficial ramifications. The only down side is a possible tendency to sit around and be lazy and indulgent. Social occasions are favored today. And financially, it indicates good results. It is also a good day to begin a trip. The fact that both planets are in water signs gives our intuition a boost. The Moon in Taurus has a stabilizing effect on our mood and emotions as well.

Theme: From Fiery to Earthy

Today the Moon remains in fiery Aries until the evening when it moves into earthy Taurus. So our emotions, and subconscious change quickly for most of the day. It is helpful in being productive if we can balance it with enough patience. Then the Moon will be exalted in Taurus for a few days, and we will feel more secure emotionally. Mercury, representing our communication and thought, will continue to slow down until the next Mercury retrograde cycle in 5 days.
