Theme:   Outer and Inner Appearances

The transit of Moon square Sun can bring up challenges in daily life and close relationships. Hidden tensions may surface but are over quickly. The Moon moves into Leo today bringing warmth and enthusiasm but as it conjuncts Mars it may bring up strong emotional reactions, particularly if we hold onto our pride. The Moon is also activated by Pluto so if intense encounters occur our subconscious emotional reactions can reveal inner patterns.
The Moon also trines Venus and Neptune bringing closeness to others by activating compassion and loving kindness through empathy.

Neptune is considered a higher vibration of Venus and today these planets are conjoined in Aries. Neptune’s influence can bring forth the desire for union on a spiritual level; Venus is the goddess of love. Devotion is the key on either a spiritual or more mundane expression. Aries brings action and passion to the forefront.
For those that are inspired to paint or produce works of art this transit will stir your imagination and ability to visualize. Neptune catalyzes our compassion as we view the suffering of humanity. Venus in Aries can catapult us into action to serve those in need.

Theme:   Walking Slowly

The New Moon brings renewal and a fresh beginning. It’s a time to plant new seeds and gain clarity in our direction. Sun and Moon align in Taurus bringing focus on grounding and stability in our lives. It is a time to align with what we value most in our lives and slowing us down after the rush of Aries energy.
The Sun and Moon are activating Mars and Pluto bringing friction between disrupting challenges and the desire for comfort and familiarity. There is also the potential for finding new grounded pathways bringing peace in the world.

The Moon conjuncts Chiron today giving us the opportunity to explore our deeper emotional wounds. Chiron is the wounded healer, or the healer that could not be healed in Greek mythology. Often for us it is through our wounds that we eventually heal ourselves and are then able to assist others who are suffering in the same way.
Whatever strong emotions arise today, take the time to observe and then release what arises. Breath meditation can be particularly helpful at this time.

Theme:   Saving Grace

The Moon has moved into Aries conjoining Mercury and Neptune, bringing strong emotions to our communications and ideals. This of course can be helpful in moving us to act on behalf of others and unify in our conscious intention.
But with Mars in exact opposition to Pluto ( both 3 degrees) and in a T-square to the Sun, the potential for strong opinions and the possibility of conflict cannot be ignored.
The saving grace is that Mars is in soft aspect to several planets; Mercury, Moon, Neptune, Venus and Saturn. This can bring peace and harmony through dialogue, diplomacy and a lot of hard work.

Today the Sun moves into Taurus, creating a T-square by squaring Mars and Pluto which are in opposition to each other. All are in fixed signs which generally can bring rigidity in thinking and resistance to change. Self will and domination over others is the signature of this particular planetary configuration. This may play out in our personal life with experiencing conflict with authority figures.
On a national level we are seeing it play out with the major branches of government with each other. This transit is in effect the next few days but is more intense today due to Moon conjunct Pluto, intensifying our emotional response to whatever occurs.
On an individual level you can use the power of this transit to look deeply at areas of your life that you wish to change radically and let go of any attachments that block your growth.

Today Mars moves into Leo where it will remain for 2 months. With several planets still in Aries and now Mars, the ruler of Aries in a fire sign also we may all be experiencing more vitality and energy than we’ve had in ages. It may bring out our passion and creativity in abundance but beware the tendency to prideful and arrogant self expression. Our fiery enthusiasm can also turn into a wish for dominance over others.
