Theme: What are you Building?

The Sun has joined Mercury, Venus and Pluto in the ambitious sign, Capricorn. This is not an ordinary foursome. Pluto continues to destroy our norms and structures for 3 more years. Uranus, the disrupter, has 4 more years to disturb what we own and value. I think that they are working together, but I can’t prove it! So can we let go of ego-centric fears and build on the solid foundation of compassion and honesty? Or are we caught in seemingly self-serving delusions? Theme: Home and Family

The Moon is in Cancer, its home sign, for a few days. We feel more emotionally secure, and turn our attention towards home and family. Venus, our relational energy, is now retrograde until the end of January. We become more introspective about our relationships, and more reserved with money. In 2 days the Sun will join 3 planets in the sign of Capricorn, which will turn our focus even more towards worldly achievements. Theme: Spiritual Dimensions

Through the middle of the day, the Moon is “squaring” Neptune which adds to the spiritual potential that we have with Jupiter harmonizing with the Sun for a few days. It is better to pray, meditate and work selflessly, than to plan and work with self interest. Later in the day the full Moon will be easier than usual, thanks to broad-minded Jupiter. Relationships continue to have a subconscious drive element. This added intensity will be present until the end of the month. As you breathe in, cherish yourself. Theme: A Beneficial 4 days

Good can come in a lot of ways for the next several days. This is because the Sun and Jupiter are in a positive 60 degree angle now. Working with others, including authorities, accomplishing objectives, and planning for the future are all favored. There is a nice balance of all 4 elements in the sky, which supports inspiration, practicality, thinking and socializing, and emotions and intuition. In the middle of the day we have extra discipline to draw on. Success is where preparation and opportunity meet. ~Bobby Unser

Theme: Careful, Confused and Focused on the Big Picture

We are blessed today that for 8 hours or so, in the middle of the day, we are stabilized by Saturn harmonizing with the Moon. It would otherwise be a peak day for discouragement and confusion. Still be careful that your thoughts and feelings are grounded in reality. Jupiter is helping us to look at the larger issues in life: law, religion, philosophy and foreign places. This is a good day to plan a trip, and to consider how to make the world a better place. I am confident that things can be improved greatly as most of the problems are man-made and can be reduced if man wants to reduce them. ~H H the Dalai Lama

Theme: Light or Dark

There is a peak concerning intensity in our relationships for the next two weeks. On the positive side relationships can be deep and satisfying. But since Pluto is united with Venus, there can also be problems, such as jealousy and the desire to control the other person. If starting a new relationship one should be cautious with a wait and see attitude, especially with the confusion of the Sun “squaring” Neptune for the next few days. Fortunately, Mars will boost our energy today. Fear is the path to the dark side. Fear leads to anger. Anger leads to hate. Hate leads to suffering. ~Yoda

Theme: Lower Energy and Discouragement

For the next 4 days we will have less energy than usual. We can become disheartened by the gap between our aspirations and our reality., and be involved in deceiving others or being deceived. These experiences intensify in the evening, and small crises arise as the Moon unites with Neptune and both of these challenge the Sun, our sense of purpose. Ultimately there is potential to serve others selflessly, and improve the level of our prayer and meditation. I like to keep my issues drawn, it’s always darkest before the dawn. ~Florence Welch

Theme: “I promise you the Sun and Moon”

I can promise you today that the only major astrology energies that are not tied in and intensely interacting, are the Sun and Moon. Thus our sense of purpose and our emotions will be challenged. We should be patient with ourselves and others: this too shall pass. For 4 days Mercury is “squaring” Neptune. This will feel like Mercury retrograde: communicate as clearly and carefully as possible. It is a powerful opportunity for spiritual learning. But be careful to stay grounded in reality, and wait to start any big project if you can. What I try to tell young people is that if you come together with a mission, and it’s grounded with love and a sense of community, you can make the impossible possible. ~John Lewis

Theme: One More Left

Neptune is slowly moving forward now. Only Uranus is still retrograde, until mid January. Uranus is shaking us a bit today and tomorrow. Look for an adjustment that can be made for life to move more smoothly. Enjoy the uplifting, triple Sagittarius energy today. Talk about religion, philosophy and foreign places, but remember to be tactful and appologize if needed. From the middle through the second half of the day we can be caught in fantasies and serious delusions. Prayer, meditation and restraint are useful then. I am a Buddhist, and always will be.
