Theme: Taking Action

Theme: More Compassion

This is another day well suited for focusing on benefiting others. There is some danger of confusion, deception and self-delusion as well. Today we are “lucky” in our compassionate and spiritual activities. This continues to be a time of progressive movement. How can we improve the lot of humanity? Theme: Benefiting Others

For the next week the harmony between Mars and Neptune indicates that we are more perceptive to the needs of others, and inclined to help them. Theme: Spiritual Focus

All the planets, and the Sun have converged into 110 degrees out of the 360 degrees possible. At the central focal point is Neptune, the mystical, ego denying planet. We can all benefit from extra prayer, meditiation and compassionate activity for the next few weeks. Deception and delusion are the pitfalls to avoid. Theme: Giving Birth

There is energy for two more weeks that supports nurturing and transformation. What can we give birth to that will improve our and other’s lives? We continue to think in concrete, practical ways about our relationships with others. The beneficial, expansive energy of Jupiter is strong in the first half of the day. Late in the day is an emotionally comfortable time. Take advantage of the inner harmony that you experience: pray and meditate. Very high energy continues for one more day. Look to physical activity, particularly as a support when feeling thwarted. Theme: Obstinance

The fixed energy challenge between the Sun, our purpose, the Moon, our emotions, and Mars, our assertive will, leads us to be unyielding to outside forces. Theme: Strange Moods and Reflecting

The Moon-Neptune opposition in the middle of the day gives us sensitivity, and confusion if we can’t integrate the mystical energy. Now that Mercury is retrograde until February 20th, this is a time for reflection, research and finishing old projects. Theme: Emotional Adjustments

The apex Moon yod, with Chiron and Saturn involved, in the middle of the day, indicates that we are dealing with past wounds and karmic patterns. With the Moon in Virgo, this is a good time to clean up and get organized. Mercury goes retrograde at 10:54 am EST today. The good news is that Mercury, our thought and communication, stays in Aquarius (where it is considered exalted) for another month and half. Theme: Feisty Expansion

For a few days we will likely have ego conflicts with others. We need to guard against impatience and irritability. At the same time we may be able to transcend the small stuff, and focus on personal growth and learning. For another month and a half we will be tense and upset if we are not willing to make needed structural changes. This is the time to clear out what is not working in our life. Abandoning perfectionism is such a relief for us, and them. ~Kristine Carlson
