Theme: Disoriented and Creative

Neptune, the planet which dissolves the ego, is at the apex of a yod with the Moon and Mercury for much of the day. If we can be both mentally flexible and grounded, we can be very creative. It is best to be patient and calm when communicating. The Moon in the apex of another yod formation (with Neptune and Pluto) reinforces our intuition and sensitivity today. Take the solitude time that you need. This is a fine day for prayer and meditation. Theme: Roaring Alone?

The Moon in Leo gives us needed inspiration, for a few days. However, it opposes Saturn for much of the day. The feelings of isolation and depression will lift in the evening. There can be peace in solitude, and even joy in working by one’s self today. We can be disciplined, but also indulgent, depending on which energy we draw on. I am a schizophrenic and so am I. ~Bob Wiley. We are also looking for passion in our relationships, but must continue to watch out for being overbearing.

Theme: Speak Slowly

One way to avoid misunderstandings during Mercury retrograde is to speak more slowly. Then we need to listen patiently as well. Maybe it is just easier to be a hermit now, because our emotions are dredged up from unconscious, powerful forces. And then we want to share it all. The energy eases up in the second half of the day. But 5 of the other 7 planets are still retrograde for several more days. And we get the Moon void of course added at 10:50 am EDT until 8:55 pm. Let’s all pray for each other! Theme: Fuming and Disciplined

We have pent up anger because the Sun and Mars are uniting in Libra, where they both feel suppressed. Yet Saturn, the planet of discipline, harmonizes with them both for the next week. It is very useful to engage in physical activity now. Be careful with machinery, and patient with others. We can be practical, detail-oriented, and particularly successful with intellectual pursuits. Success isn’t measured by money or power or social rank. Success is measured by your discipline and inner peace. ~Mike Ditka

Theme: Comfort then Curiosity

The Moon moves from comfort seeking Taurus to mentally restless Gemini late in the day. We then become more social and chatty. Some lucky break will come our way in the middle of the day. Continue to be careful of the powerful drive to convince others of our point of view. We look especially for depth in our close relationships through the first week of October. Theme: New Adventures

The Moon united with Uranus, the exciter or disruptor, indicates that we are in for some sudden changes in the middle of the day. For a couple of days, Venus, our relationship planet, is also excited or disrupted. It depends on whether we are mentally flexible or tight. We are in a powerful situation for 2 more weeks. We can think broadly, and generously. We can also search for deep answers. Try to lighten up the situation if you or anyone else gets too obsessive. Theme: Broad-Minded but Obsessive

Besides a helpful boost from Jupiter, our thinking and communication gets a challenge from powerful Pluto. The danger is in coercing others or being coerced concerning a certain view- point. Best to use this energy for self-understanding and studying the hidden aspects of life. In the first half of the day we are apt to respond with haste and anger. Physical activity can be a needed outlet. The Moon in Aries for the next 3 days gives us much needed inspiration towards our activities. Cure for an obsession: get another one. ~Mason Cooley

Theme: Passion and Equanimity

As Venus continues in Scorpio, the most deeply passionate sign, we are not satisfied by superficiality in relationships. But can we excuse human failings in others now? In the middle of the day the Moon in Pisces harmonizes with Venus, and we can empathize with a broader circle of people and animals than usual. We will have a fortunate surprise coming from someone close to us. And we will experience excitement about it as the day goes on. Equanimity is this even ground that we are first laying out. For 3 weeks we have a boost in our communication and thinking. This a good time for seeing the big picture: planning ahead, making good business decisions, and investigating philosophy and religion. For the next two days we have the potential to transform the world around us. Beware of selfish and ruthless motivation, though. Expect emotional suprises around lunchtime. Theme: Move Forward with Care

The next two days indicate moving in a new direction, away from familiar ways. In the second half of the day we have an inner harmony, and are social, inquisitive and progressive. With Mercury retrograde it is best to finish old projects, research and reflect, but don’t start anything important anew. If a new beginning is unavoidable, expect changes as time goes on. You gotta be careful: don’t say a word to nobody about nothing anytime ever. ~Johnny Depp
