Theme: Hard and Soft

We are ambitious and easily irritated in the middle of the day. We should be careful with impulsiveness so that we avoid accidents. Can we draw on the softer energy that is going on at the same time? Theme: What is Real?

Theme: Disoriented

The placement of the Moon in the middle of the day adds to the confusing energy pattern that we must cope with. Theme: Still Thinking Big

For one more day we are influenced by Jupiter and can overdo things. Can we generate enough discipline and realism to use this positive energy? A restraining influence arises in the second half of the day which helps. Saturn has now gone retrograde, joining Pluto. The time of strong, forward moving energy has ended. Especially when Mercury goes retrograde this coming Saturday, we will need more patience and should focus more inwardly to be at our best for the next outward cycle. Theme: Confusion or Awareness

For 3 more weeks miscommunications will be common. Mercury goes retrograde on June 5th. The pace of activities will gradually slow down until then. It is easy to get caught up in our fantasies during this time. Yet there is potential for expanded awareness, if we can stay grounded in reality. Theme: It’s Hip to be Square

Someone must have told today’s theme to the planets, the Sun and Moon. There are a lot of energies at 90 degree angles to each other today, “squaring” the others. In the middle of the day our thinking may be really muddled. It is best to be very careful if making big decisions for the next 3 weeks. Watch out for taking on too much for a few days. As the Moon spends another day and a half in Cancer, we feel secure emotionally. It is a nice time to spend at home and with family. There is also energy for quick, light-hearted communication and thought, and also compassionate action. What’s missing is a fire element punch. This makes us passive.
