Got more things to think about than your brain cells can accommodate? So does everybody else and that’s the problem: tell someone your sad story and you’ll hear a longer, sadder story. The good news is that a hard-working optimist is in your corner, busily turning lemons into lemonade and difficulties into opportunities. Look to this person for counsel and try not to giggle as he/she obsessively alphabetizes problems, rank-ordering them and deciding which to solve first. Stay out of the way and be grateful! As the day progresses, something changes the nature of the job at hand. Make no attempt to push through, it’s not malleable.
