It’s a wonderful day to attend a meeting of dignitaries; schedule one and dress up. Be respectful of everyone. Sonia Sotomayer said, “Don’t mistake politeness for lack of strength.” Ceremony is important. If you’re a person with a role to play, act like it! Allow those who do not wish to participate to slip away from the festivities. Work is

Trust your hunches today. Trust someone who gives you secret information. Believe dreams or intuitive perceptions. Medical matters go well, and a healing situation gets you moving. You may not even know what it is, but you’ll know how you feel after it has happened. You are dreaming of lost loves, or of those who are distant, but don’t let that distract you from what is right in front of you. Conversations are baffling, or else you can’t get anyone to talk to you. Again, trust your hunches (” I suspect…is avoiding me”); you are right. Sarah Orne Jewett said, “Tact is after all a kind of mind-reading.” Accomplishment comes from constant work and attention to detail; slow and steady is winning the race. Push ahead with projects. Happiness exists independently from outside influences. People just sit around being happy for no earthly reason. Join them, you’ll love it, or else be happy on your own. The notion that you need something to make you happy, is turned on its head today. Nothing makes you happy, enjoy!

9/8/2014 Monday by Norma It’s very difficult to get moving today. If you must rise early, you’ll be in a daze until noon, or later. Pace yourself carefully between work and relaxation. Do one, then the other. If you snooze on the job, or try to work during your break, it won’t work! It’s a full moon day, and everyone is feeling a bit nutty. Do you think you are being persecuted for being you? Are you suspicious of everyone? Relax. Use your head but don’t be paranoid. Ask the boss for details, or ask the most mysterious person you know. That person will set you straight, pronto, and make such good sense you’ll wonder why you didn’t think of it yourself. Alice Randall said, “Sometimes when almost everything is wrong, one thing is so right you would do it all again.” What’s good about today? A group comes up with an unworkable idea. Let the moment pass and pretend it never happened. Good fortune comes through individual activity, so be prepared to go it alone in some way. A single person can accomplish something that a group can’t today; give that person all your support. General Colin Powell said, “Great leaders are almost always great simplifiers.” Work is fun, and organization is really enjoyable. Pets bring happiness. Look to the person who tells you what to do and why,
and you’ll love this day. (“Read the instructions twice and you’ll understand them.”). Small is beautiful.

You’re pulled in two directions and can’t make up your mind which to choose. Choose neither: do one, then the other, but don’t try to mix or combine them. It won’t work! A friend or group comes up with a great idea, accept it! Group matters go well, if undertaken early in the day. Things that run on past mid-day become disappointing and don’t end well. Work and health matters are fun; brush your teeth for fifteen minutes, stock up on home made things or little time-saving gizmos. Conversations
about health matters are enjoyable. Buy vitamins, dental floss and other personal hygiene items. Small is beautiful and brings joy. Pets are little dreamboats. If you feel sad, snuggle up with your (name your pet) and you’ll cheer right up. Desmond Tutu said, “Do your little bit of good where you are; it is those little bits of good put together that overwhelm the world.”
