Theme: Touching generosity

The Moon is conjunct Ceres today reminding you of the power of giving and how giving food in particular is a powerful force for change. Ceres also rules the harvest and by association caretaking the land so that harvests remain bountiful. Both the Sun and Moon are in fire signs so outward activity and progressing goals are the focus. Venus and Jupiter are still conjunct providing you encouragement while acting as beneficial insurance against other difficult planetary energies.

Theme: Patience little grasshopper

With Mars opposite the Moon conjunct Neptune and Saturn it’s a tricky day. You are more likely to feel out of sorts so it’s a more reactive time. In the circumstances patience is a virtue and helps with your discernment. This aspect also strengthens your resolve to stay the course. The Moon is also trine Mercury so it’s a good time for group projects inspired by compassionate motivation. The overall silver lining in the day is Venus conjunct Jupiter which antidotes difficulties and provides beneficial opportunities.

Theme: Maintaining resilience

Mars continues to oppose Saturn and Neptune but has moved one degree past both planets indicating that the intensity of this aspect is slowly diminishing. However we’re not out of the woods yet. Mars in combination with Saturn can bring difficult karma forward so it really is a case of maintaining resilience in the the face of difficulties and taking the opportunity to develop new insights and strength. The role of Neptune is to encourage us to find an inner spiritual center in difficult times. You may not know what is going on but you can maintain an inner posture that replenishes as well as anchors you.

Theme:     Peaceful Resolve

The focus over the last week has been on transformative communications but often from opposite points of view. Mars has just moved into Libra bringing a desire for harmony in polarities through diplomatic means. On the world stage there could be an opportunity for sustained change through operating from a position of new understanding.
The potential to lay the framework for creative transformation can occur when the focus is on the greater needs of society rather than self.
On a spiritual and personal level there is a disciplined effort to transcend any rigidity and limitations, moving closer to one’s spiritual ideals. Mars/ Venus brings more creative and physical energy to actualizing our dreams and potential.

Theme: Step by step and then change!

The Moon in Capricorn reminds us that accomplishment relies on being disciplined and steadfast. Later in the day the Moon moves into Aquarius where accomplishment is through being innovative and open to ideas. Elementally Aquarius, like Leo where the Sun and Mercury are placed, are fixed signs so even though they are in their own right shining stars, they also find certain kinds of change difficult: for Leo it’s about pride and for Aquarius it’s about intellectual rigidity. Venus in Cancer, on the other hand is in a cardinal sign where action speaks volumes in relationships.

Theme: Life is big

The Moon opposite Jupiter today puts more on your plate than usual. It’s tempting to magnify things more than they already are. The Moon’s placement in Capricorn helps ground events and is a reminder to simply put one foot in front of the other today. The Sun is midway through Leo. Enjoy the playful aspects of this placement and its connection to children and spontaneity. The North node is conjunct the Vertex today providing a silver lining to challenges and inviting you to stay the course in spite of being in an unfamiliar zone.

Theme: Contentious Moments

The Moon is square Mars today and you can feel out of wack, out of balance or whatever you call that feeling of irritation. Be patient and watch out for your reactions and where possible turn down their volume. Exercise is a good outlet and antidote to pent up feelings. The Moon is also trine Chiron which can bring emotional healing. Being in nature and finding reflective time is anchoring today.
