Robert Nozick said “Why are philosophers intent on forcing others to believe things? It’s a wonderful day to attend a meeting of dignitaries; schedule one and dress up. Be respectful of everyone. Sonia Sotomayer said, “Don’t mistake politeness for lack of strength.” Ceremony is important. If you’re a person with a role to play, act like it! Allow those who do not wish to participate to slip away from the festivities. Work is

Trust your hunches today. Trust someone who gives you secret information. Believe dreams or intuitive perceptions. Medical matters go well, and a healing situation gets you moving. You may not even know what it is, but you’ll know how you feel after it has happened. You are dreaming of lost loves, or of those who are distant, but don’t let that distract you from what is right in front of you. Conversations are baffling, or else you can’t get anyone to talk to you. Again, trust your hunches (” I suspect…is avoiding me”); you are right. Sarah Orne Jewett said, “Tact is after all a kind of mind-reading.” Accomplishment comes from constant work and attention to detail; slow and steady is winning the race. Push ahead with projects. Happiness exists independently from outside influences. People just sit around being happy for no earthly reason. Join them, you’ll love it, or else be happy on your own. Do one, then the other. If you snooze on the job, or try to work during your break, it won’t work! It’s a full moon day, and everyone is feeling a bit nutty. Do you think you are being persecuted for being you? Are you suspicious of everyone? Relax. Use your head but don’t be paranoid. Ask the boss for details, or ask the most mysterious person you know. That person will set you straight, pronto, and make such good sense you’ll wonder why you didn’t think of it yourself. Alice Randall said, “Sometimes when almost everything is wrong, one thing is so right you would do it all again.” What’s good about today?
