Give an indecisive person a push today and you will supply the missing ingredient that steadies an unstable situation. Listen carefully and impartially to everyone’s point of view, avoiding favoritism
or personal bias, and suggest action that is least offensive to everyone. Oddly, the biggest troublemaker is the person trying to “make nice” with everyone. Action, not diplomacy, solves the problem. Forget group hugs and everyone singing “Kumbaya.” A dangerous encounter is possible today, be prepared to run if you detect trouble. What’s good? Medical treatments, a clear call to action, and careful planning for the future. Winston Churchill said, “The empires of the future are the empires of the mind.”

An emotional or domestic issue is impervious to pacification, meaning the more you try to assuage someone’s feelings the stronger they grow. What to do? Listen, empathize and accept reality as it is. Offer a snack, mention how the same horrible thing happened to your friend, etc. Food and comfort make the greatest impact now and your attitude will be remembered in the future. The danger today lies in
assuming a Marie Antoinette-ish attitude, “Let them eat cake!” that worsens a difficult situation. Elsewhere, medical treatments are succeeding, whether or not you believe this to be true, a gift makes a favorable impact, and numerous candidates for partnership appear. Sadly, none fits the bill, but the attention is fun.

Avoid confronting authority figures or anyone you don’t understand, you won’t realize you are in the
weaker position until it is too late. A powerful entity is unswayed by emotional appeals and rules against them. It’s an odd time, where people believe that if they really, really want something it should be given – the two year old’s approach to life. The adult doesn’t agree and no tantrum changes that. Fortunately, a third party can mediate and explain things in such a way that everyone goes away if not happy, at least with a better understanding of the issues involved. Nadia Boulanger said, “Loving a child doesn’t mean giving in to all his whims.” Work goes well early in the day so jump right in and finish your tasks before the late afternoon slowdown. Home is important, spend as much time there as possible and you’ll be happy with Buddihist Tea Pet.

First you did too much, now you’re going to say too much! Avoid the urge to tell others exactly how you feel, instead tell them what you dream of and wish for. A dream that turns into reality is highlighted today. Raymond Inman said, “If you are seeking creative ideas, go out walking. Angels whisper to a person who goes for a walk.” Appearance matters for leaders, so show up looking great and your followers will be inspired anew. It’s not really a good time for financial decisions so conserve your resources right now. What’s good? Being in light, bright places, going outside, dressing well and tending to long term projects. Watch for the interesting person who pops up with enthusiasm that brightens your day.

Listen to people who want to talk about the past and share your own memories, it’s part of the bonding process that’s taking place now. Maya Angelou said, “The most called-upon prerequisite of a friend is an accessible ear.” Follow your hunches about everything now, you can use reason later. Be sure to dress well and smile at everyone today.

Focus on the qualities you appreciate in people and things today, not on the negative. Avoid bringing a partner into a difficult situation, it’s better to go it alone and use your own intuition to work things out. Be sure that you yourself are in a stable place before addressing others. Carlos Santana said, “If you want to be successful, just meditate, man. Meditation will tell you what people need.” This is a good day to formulate goals for the future, go for a swim or a sail, and renew old relationships that you’ve neglected.

Do not attempt to involve others as they either won’t join you or else they will pull you in the wrong direction. Who looks outside, dreams, who looks inside, awakens.” Follow your own thinking today, put energy into careful shopping and allocation of resources. A financial decision is excellent, a love is deepened and home is where the heart is. Spend time with family, children and those who mean the most to you.

Beware of overdoing- giving more than is reasonable- and using an emotional justification for your actions. Boundaries are necessary now. Two forces are at work: feelings and reason. Feelings say you should hand over your pension to someone who did you a favor in college, logic says you might need the pension yourself one day. Tiptoe carefully and run your thinking past an impersonal party, someone unaffected by the matter at hand. The wish to stand by your words conflicts with the fact that you’ve changed your mind. Fess up, admit you’re human and move on! Afraid others will blame you? They will, but so what. Winston Churchill said, “We shall not be judged by the criticisms of others but by the
consequences of our acts.” This is a good day to tend to domestic matters, think about food, build things and earn money.
