Liddon said, “What we do upon some great occasion will probably depend on what we already are; and we are will be the result of previous years of self-discipline.” Saturn continues to shower grief on Venus. Friends appear bringing happiness but you must not listen to their financial advice, it’s wrong. A last-gasp surge of belligerence simmers down during the day and life seems reasonable again. You’ll just want to relax and think pleasant thoughts, relieved that the Sun has finally left excitable Aries and moved into peaceful, good-natured Taurus. George W. Bush said, “We are ready for any unforeseen event which may or may not happen.” Alrighty! Spend time with friends, special partners and the people who generate a sense of peace and well being and put you in the right mood to deal with whatever comes your way today.

People express deeply held convictions that directly contradict another groups’ belief in the right to free expression. Give others’ beliefs the same respect you offer your own, and keep your hands off other peoples’ bodies and possessions! Shakespeare said, “He jests at scars who never felt a wound.” Freedom of belief doesn’t mean freedom to cause damage or run stop signs today as “do your own thing” thinking confronts conservatism. What’s good? Leaders are stable and thoughtful, kindness transforms tricky situations and partners are excellent. Financial matters go well and a purchase solves a problem.

A conversation with a respected person is stabilizing, and leaders are in touch with what needs to happen. It’s a stable day, a good day to let your imagination review alternative solutions to current issues. Anonymous said, “Think different.” Plan, review and consider, but hold off on action just yet.
Mercury is still retrograde so don’t sign a lease, buy a car or any mechanical device you expect to be operational in the future. Carry on with policies that have already been planned or considered, spend time with a special partner and respect authority. A surprise-a good one-is in the wings just waiting to make an entrance. You’ll know when it arrives by the happiness it brings.

Poor little Venus can’t catch a break! It seems your deepest feelings are being trampled and nobody’s on your side. Wait it out. A correction is in the works and it’s time to change your ways if you’re at fault. Are you the one holding someone accountable? Be direct, fair and willing to move on if the party changes. Roberto Assagioli said, “Without forgiveness life is governed by an endless cycle of resentment and retaliation.” A conversation can clear the air today. Be sure to cover every aspect of the situation, leaving nothing open to misinterpretation. A palpable excitement is in the air and past mistakes are being rectified at the speed of light. Partnership is great, men and women are in harmony and a mess is being cleaned up.

Venus goes direct today and happiness is once again in forward gear. Spend time evaluating your situation with a realistic eye and take whatever steps are necessary to correct problems. Take time to consider your important relationships in the process, don’t throw out the baby with the bath water. You can buy success today, so open your wallet and sidestep hurt feelings. Men are stable and willing to work for a successful outcome. Marcus Aurelius said, “Nothing happens to anybody which he is not fitted by nature to bear.” A generous person opens a door that you’d overlooked and kindness brings more good results than harshness.

A change has occurred and unsaid things have been said. A new sense of freedom is in the air and a different direction is possible. The entire environment is in flux: the wheel is turning and you won’t know the outcome for several days or weeks. All you know is that the old situation is gone. Dorothy said, “Toto, I’ve got a feeling we’re not in Kansas anymore.” A current dust-up or mix-up will settle down within three days but the big picture takes longer to manage. What’s good now? A renewed sense of opportunity, expanding parameters, the breakdown of an unworkable pattern and shopping! It’s a great time to manage money and someone you love is waiting for you.

Robust activity energizes a lethargic situation and everything to do with electronics, technology, machines and gadgets is electrifying. This is not a good day to to start things that haven’t been pre-planned, but it’s a great day to finally launch a long awaited project. Love is in the air, exercise is great and a business project hums along nicely. Today it is better to circle a matter carefully rather than charging directly toward it. Direct action, taking the shortest route to something, doesn’t work. Vaclav Havel said, “Life is its own journey, presupposes its own change and movement.” What’s good today? Behind-the-scenes strategic planning, emotional reassurance from someone you thought didn’t care, sidestepping a dispute, and physical healing.

A thoughtful person comes up with a way to overcome a stalled negotiation. Accept the solution that is offered and be prepared to take some heat at the same time. Emotional volatility is a feature of the day: expect to deal with strong emotions and you won’t be flustered by them. Elizabeth Kenny said, “He who angers you conquers you.” Avoid the tendency to reminisce about the past, instead consider brushing up your talents and your bag of tricks. Consider your strengths and weaknesses, evaluate what you’ve actually accomplished, and use this as a springboard for what comes next. Avoid new beginnings
for the time being. It is better to wrap up matters from the past and learn from what has happened. This process of evaluation will take several weeks, but when you do move ahead your foundation will be firm.

Mercury has decided to review the past, along with Venus, making it difficult to stay focused on the present. If you’re involved in litigation an appeal is in the wings, if you thought a deal was sealed it’ll come back for review! Everyone is trying to be diplomatic, refusing to say what they really think, making everything more difficult. An emotional appeal is successful where reason fails. Benjamin Disraeli said, “Never apologize for showing feeling. When you do so, you apologize for truth.” What’s good today? Plugging away on business matters, reviewing prior transactions, exchanging items you can’t use and giving people another chance. Be generous with others, you may need another chance some day!
