Theme:    Breakdown or Breakthrough

Potential tension and dynamic shifts related to individual expression and the desire for freedom can arise with today’s transit of Sun square Uranus. Unexpected changes and disruptions can occur with Uranian energy, bringing breakdowns or breakthroughs dependent on how open and flexible you are to change at the moment.
There is currently a long term transit of Uranus trine Pluto which started in July and will go through to November. This is bringing a time of creative and radical transformation but without rebellion with the consequence of enduring change. Rather than a sense of loss when limiting circumstances and viewpoints pass suddenly you can feel a sense of freedom and rebirth. Some days don’t feel like it, but the ball is always in our court.

Theme:   Retrograde Mercury

Today is the last day of Mercury retrograde and it has moved into Gemini, so tomorrow onwards expect the pace of communications to pick up with more of a flow. Decision making is always difficult with the retrograde influence being about stopping outer activity to focus on inward communication and less tangible manifestation.
The best use of Mercury retrograde is for review, research or retreat.
When our inner communication is in harmony, the outer world reflects that. So if you encounter delays and upsets all the time switch your phone and devices off and go for a walk in nature or time out to sit and meditate.

Theme:      Brave New World

The overall picture of the planets is basically the same, other than the Moon moving quickly through the signs, now in Taurus.
Venus and Jupiter are walking together in harmony, Mars is opposite Saturn/ Neptune with a slightly wider orbit. A Grand Trine is still in place with Mars/ Pluto/ Uranus and forming a kite with the Neptune/ Saturn conjunction. Mercury is still opposite Pluto.
Most of the aspects are beneficial, benign and peaceful. So where is the rub?
For that look to Mercury opposite Pluto and Mars opposite Saturn/ Neptune.
Communications (Mercury) are ongoing around profound changes ( Pluto) and that can be challenging to say the least.
Reality is being challenged and in fact structure ( Saturn) as we know it is dissolving ( Neptune), sometimes forcefully (Mars). If the Grand Trine was a T Square between Mars/ Pluto/ Uranus, we would be looking at war but as it’s a trine peace talks are being held with potential for a positive outcome, although deception is likely with Neptune’s involvement. Be true to your values as we move further into Pluto in Aquarius.

Theme:      Choices

This morning you may find yourself wanting to break out of your normal routine and do something exciting and stimulating. The afternoon promises good company with others, potentially joining a group or large gathering that can fulfill that need.
This may be helpful as Mars is opposite Neptune and Saturn currently and will be for another week.
This can be a very frustrating time where your energies appear to be inhibited by others or authorities. This in turn can make you feel discouraged or depressed. Misunderstandings can easily arise through poor communication or even deception.
Drugs and anesthesia can be problematic during this time also.
Working alone or being on retreat can be fruitful as you can use the energy to actualize spiritual aims and humanitarian projects.

The Full Moon brings clarity and completion. Today it’s in Aquarius , unexpected insights into situations or issues that have been in the forefront can arise.
Uranus is the ruler of Aquarius and today is in positive aspect to Pluto and Mars. New activities and unexpected encounters can bring courage to break free of inhibiting factors in your life. These transits encourage personal growth and discovery.
This time Uranus breaks down barriers without destroying everything. Mercury sextile Mars supports inner confidence in ideas and beliefs giving a boost of energy, mentally and physically.

Theme:   A Kite, a Yod and a Grand Trine

Transformative communication is coming unexpectedly to some. While not for the faint hearted, there is definitely a silver lining if you can internalize the feedback that is coming your way.
The apex of the Yod is Venus pointing to opening the heart. The Grand Trine opposes Pluto which creates sextiles to Moon and Neptune/ Uranus creating the Kite and again begs for transformation at a cellular level.
All of us are experiencing tumultuous change on a personal and external level, wishing at times to return to “ the old days “. But everything points to new ways that are coming at such an accelerated pace it’s hard to keep up. With all astrological transits we have a choice, to gain either penetrating insight and adjust accordingly; or become a victim to what appears as external events.

Moon sextiles Mars and brings energy to your day. It will be easy to attend to reorganizing the house or garden, even initiating a project you’ve had on the back burner awhile.
Mars and Pluto encourages reform in your life and gives sustained energy to formulate long term goals. Particularly focusing on the greater needs of society will have more long term success than following personal ambition. Moon Uranus can stimulate new ideas and inventions and of course bring a few surprises.

Theme: Harnessing good

With Mars approaching a trine with Jupiter and moving away from the square with Neptune there is growing opportunity to harness the beneficial energy of Jupiter in more productive and helpful ways that turns Mars from being a mere warrior to a warrior helping others. Health and healing is on the cards today with Chiron aspecting the Sun and Moon: the challenge is to balance your purpose with your inner needs.

Theme: A Critical Eye

Mercury has entered Capricorn for a few weeks, and it sextiles Saturn for a few more days. We have an eye for detail more than for the big picture. Be careful of isolating: this can lead to depression. We are practically minded now. Venus is also square Pluto for a few days. This indicates the need for change in our close relationships. Accepting this can be challenging. Finally, we are in the shadow phase of the up coming Mercury Retrograde. Be prepared for a slower pace of getting things done.

Theme: Mystical Morning and Practical Day

As the Moon unites with Neptune in Pisces early in the day, we can be extremely sensitive to others and reach deeper than normal places in meditation. Then the harmonious flow between Mercury and Jupiter is strong for a few days. This favors planning, organization, and all intellectual pursuits, with a down to earth style.
