Theme: Which direction are you facing?

With Neptune situated between Mercury and Saturn your spiritual self is impacted by communication conundrums and worldly responsibilities. It’s hard to get a fix on things in these circumstances. The good thing about Mercury is that it’s a flexible planet and can help you think through seeming obstacles. Mars has moved into Leo promoting dignity and self-worth. The sign of Leo can be prideful: there is good pride and not-so-good pride. With both the Sun and Moon in fixed signs it’s more challenging to give ground.

Theme:  Conflict

Today the Sun moves into Taurus, creating a T-square by squaring Mars and Pluto which are in opposition to each other. All are in fixed signs which generally can bring rigidity in thinking and resistance to change. Self will and domination over others is the signature of this particular planetary configuration. This may play out in our personal life with experiencing conflict with authority figures.
On a national level we are seeing it play out with the major branches of government with each other. This transit is in effect the next few days but is more intense today due to Moon conjunct Pluto, intensifying our emotional response to whatever occurs.

Theme: Cause and effect

Saturn is conjunct the north node bringing rewards for effort that set you on the best path, as opposed to the path of past habitual patterns. Sometimes it is new directions and venturing into the unfamiliar that is most productive for the psyche. Mercury is conjunct Neptune. One interpretation of this aspect is that your intuition is not always reliable if it’s to do with ordinary things but it can be a powerful tool when harnessed for spiritual well-being that is tied to being of benefit to all beings.

Theme: Endurance and staying power

Mars trine Saturn embodies both discipline and staying power. It can be a dynamic time building foundations step-by-step. There are no short-cuts with this aspect. Nevertheless effort produces good results. The Moon is trine Neptune today bringing an appreciation of beauty in everyday life. The Sun squares Mars for the next few days bringing a feisty more combative posture. See if you can channel that energy productively by bringing people with you. Otherwise take a hike!

Theme: How to steer a course?

With the North node conjunct Saturn, Mercury and Neptune you could be forgiven for feeling that the steering mechanism of your life is a bit on auto-pilot and you’re not sure where it’s taking you! Saturn and Neptune are such profoundly different planets that co-existence is almost an anathema except when it comes to cause and effect – where they are both heavy weights in the karmic result division. Saturn results tend to be immediate and clear while Neptune karmic results are slower and more amorphous over time. Both planets invite a process of letting go and mindfulness in order to move in the right direction.

Theme: Tending the hearth

The Moon in Scorpio is conjunct Vesta honing your focus on being of benefit to others through creative projects and attending your own spiritual needs. This placement also turns your mind to your own physical home to seek nurturing within that space. You are more attuned to others feelings with the Moon in a water sign and Mercury close to Neptune. Theme:  Shifting Gears

The accent today is more on transformation and regeneration as Moon moves into Scorpio. For a few hours Moon will challenge Pluto and Mars, giving some energy to what needs to be changed in your life regarding emotional patterns. Mars and Pluto are in opposition which will grow stronger through the end of April. For now this transit is quite weak and Mars is trine several planets in Pisces softening its force. Later in the month issues of power and control over others will become more obvious.

Healing old wounds related to self identity can be reflected by others under the influence of the Libran Full Moon opposite Sun and Chiron conjunct in Aries.
