Theme: Retrograde Again

It’s time for Mercury to go retrograde at 2:03 pm EST today. This will last until November 29th. Remember that this time is best spent finishing old projects, researching and doing retreat, prayer and meditation. We often don’t communicate clearly because we are more inwardly focussed. Be patient with yourself and others. And if you need to start something important during the next 20 days be aware that it will change, especially after November 29th.

Theme: The Past comes to the Present

There is a powerful Yod configuration in the middle of the day. The Moon enters Cancer at this time. Our past will be triggered by the Moon being at the apex of the Yod, and boosted by our conscious and sub-conscious drive (Mars and Pluto). This is an opportunity to resolve old concerns. Jupiter is trine Saturn for the next 6 weeks. This indicates a harmony between expansive windfalls and restrictive karma.

Theme: Changing Plans

The harmonious aspect between Mars and Pluto means that we have to make adjustment in plans today. The new plans will be better, and we should have the energy to accomplish a great deal. Getting clear on what you want to achieve is key. And it is important to work with other’s priorities in mind. If we don’t this will come back to bite us in the future. Theme: Communication connundrums

With Mercury poised to go retrograde on Sunday you can prepare yourself for Mercury back-sliding into Mars making speech bracingly direct and unflinching, especially in the sign of Sagittarius. So it behooves everyone to think before they speak. However, Mercury/Mars is also great for investigations and bestows mental acuity. Venus moves into Scorpio today deepening commitments and intensifying relationships.

Theme: Fullness

The Moon is in Taurus seeks security and peace and compliments the Sun in Scorpio which seeks authenticity, truth and transformation. Theme: Be mindful

Mars opposes Uranus at 12:30pm EST USA creating strong compulsion. Be extremely mindful. Do whatever it takes to harness this energy with the right motivation to be of benefit. Theme: Making time and space

Theme: Slowing Down

Mercury will go retrograde in one week, so we are well into the shadow period of slowing down in communication and thought. At the same time Mercury is no longer tightly opposed to Uranus, so we will feel the slowdown even more. This continues to be a good time for socializing, but be careful of overindulgence in food, drink and spending. Also be careful of being overbearing if you have a tendency that way.

Theme: Religion, Philosophy and Long Distance Travel

Mercury is in Sagittarius, and very activated by interactions with other planets. So Sagittarius themes are prevalent, including religion, philosophy, long distance travel and law. Our minds are revved up by Uranus, gentled by Neptune and deepened by Pluto. It continues to be a nice time for group gatherings, but our discipline is weak now. The Moon continues in Pisces which supports prayer, meditation and compassionate activity.

Theme: Social and Indulgent

The combined energy of the Moon, Venus and Jupiter tends to put us in a good, social mood. Can we stay moderate in food and drink despite the square between Venus and Jupiter for the next few days? Our minds work extremely quickly for a few more days. Be careful what you say and do. This energy is not good for disciplined, detailed work, but enhances an interest in Mathematics and Sciences.
