Theme: Intensifying

Venus is opposite Pluto stirring the pot of relationships. It’s always hard to see what’s going on where Pluto is involved until some time has elapsed. So, if you can, avoid expressing strong emotional responses to situations. Be like a guard for your own mind – no matter how provocative situations are. The Moon moves into Scorpio later in the day bringing it’s own intensity so you don’t want to add to the emotional complexity of the day. Instead turn the search light inwards and examine your own mind.

With the Sun now in Virgo there is an increased focus on practical communications and attending to details. Because Virgo is an earth sign Virgo energy is focused on sustaining and nurturing the health of one self and others. This can be achieved through having the right medicine, including understanding food as medicine. It’s also the sign of craft and doingness. Virgos can be motion machines. Mars conjunct the Moon today gives you a few challenging moments with reactivity as emotionality is combined with activity. Focus on the present. You have the capacity to be decisive today.

Theme: Softening

Venus is trine Saturn thankfully softening the challenges of the Saturn/Neptune conjunction over the next few days. Venus is a benefic planet bringing forth merit from past actions to soften the edges of particularly challenging events. There is hope for diplomacy, detente and creating a smoother path forward with this aspect. The Moon is in Libra adding to the energy of diplomacy and mediation. Libra energy seeks fairness and to balance the scales. To do this in decision making the full picture needs to be revealed.

Theme:   A Musing Kind of Day

With the Sun and Moon in Virgo we will be more pragmatic in our approach to life and ready to act on projects we’ve either been putting off or have been on hold. As much as Virgo loves minutiae, there is a lovely Moon Jupiter aspect that helps expand our world view and fills us with optimism and enthusiasm.
Venus is also trine both Saturn and Neptune shining the light on love and close relationships. Neptune is a higher vibration of Venus expanding our compassion and empathy for others and also is a time to follow dreams, expressing oneself through the arts or spiritual devotion.
On the material side, financial affairs can be  quite good, although investments will be rather  conservative.

A Black Moon refers to a 2nd New Moon in a calendar month. It can also refer to a season that has 4 instead of 3 moons, the term applies to the 2nd to last moon which is the case today.
The New Moon generally is a time to focus internally and contemplate the unseen. A time of meditation and reflection, setting your intentions for renewal or new beginnings. A Dark Moon amplifies this shadow time. Sun and Moon in Virgo conjunct at 0 degrees 23 minutes will focus our gaze on details that need to be dealt with in a practical manner.
