Theme: Extracting your self

The Sun has slipped past Neptune providing you with a clearer purpose and sense of identity. There is still the vexed placement of Mars square Sun/Neptune/Mercury conjunction. Mars was the Roman God of War so whenever Mars is in difficult aspect to other planets, as it is right now, you have to tread carefully and take more precautions when you are undertaking a physical activity. Energetically you’re also being challenged to stand up for your rights. With Mercury in play communications and messages can give insight and provide other perspectives.

Theme: Pent up energy

With Mars square both the Sun and Neptune conjunction you might be forgiven for feeling a little out of sorts when situations push you into what feels like a corner. So transform the cornered feeling with your mind! There is still the potential for a breakthrough in your perception of reality if you don’t let yourself get distracted. With the Moon now in Capricorn, focus on putting one foot firmly in front of the other.

Theme: Contrasting principles

With the square between Neptune and Mars, and the Sun approaching Neptune there is a frustration that ordinary things cannot be easily accomplished. There is a parallel drain on your energy making forward movement more difficult. In material reality the planet Neptune is an anathema. Neptune is associated with the ether, other worlds and realities, but is also tied to the spiritual insofar as it invites us to connect with something beyond our senses.

Theme: Restoring faith

With the Moon in Sagittarius and Jupiter conjunct Chiron idealism has wings and your faith in the possible can be realized, especially once you let go of old stories of failure. As Mercury, the planet of communication, approaches the Sun there is more connectivity with your sense of purpose and your ability to communicate your wishes. However, you do have to be aware of increased subjectivity at this time. Energy is a bit low with Neptune zapping Mars, encouraging more introspection and rest at this time.

Theme: A Breather from Stress

The challenges from yesterday continue: Mars square the Sun and Neptune. So beware of anger and discouragement. But today the Moon is trining first Mercury, then the Sun and then Neptune. So emotionally we are more at peace, particularly in the middle third of the day. Venus and Mars are exactly 60 degrees apart today, which helps balance our assertive and relational energy. The Moon forms a yod with those two planets in the evening bring back some stress.

Theme: Energy, Anger, and Discouragement

Mars is at a challenging angle to Neptune and the Sun. On the one hand we have extra vigor. Yet the Neptune-Mars square can zap our energy, if we are ego driven. This is really an excellent opportunity for prayer, meditation and compassionate action, if we can be patient and truly altruistic. The Moon is in Scorpio for two days giving us penetrating insight. Just know when to be gentle and when to lighten up.

Theme: Organizing the Mystical?

Saturn, the planet of pragmatism and restriction, has entered Pisces, the sign of mystical transcendence. This will be a challenging 2 1/2 years. The best approach is to make practical changes in our prayer, meditation and compassionate actions. The pitfalls are despair, cynicism and cruelty.
