Theme: Reckonings

With the Sun exactly conjunct the south node it’s a time when past causes and conditions catch up with you – and it’s a mixed bag. Sometimes going in the opposite direction, away from your comfort zone can prove the most rewarding step. The Moon moves into Sagittarius today bringing the winds of promise to a bitterly divided world. If we can make friends with ourselves we can make friends with our neighbors.

Theme: Finding Peace

Generosity and giving are keys to creating the causes of harmony and peace today with the Moon in good aspect to Ceres, an asteroid which thrives when we tend to those in need, including the guardians of the earth, Indigenous peoples. The Moon in good aspect to Venus invites us to give rise to a compassionate heart in the face of suffering. Mercury in close proximity to the Sun signals sudden unexpected messages, generally bringing good news.

Theme: Utilizing the past

Difficulties and challenges in relationships can be traced back to the past – it’s a good time to analyze the root causes of difficulties in general and one-to-one relationships in particular. With Moon trine Jupiter you have more optimism in tackling difficulties and you also have a wider perspective that aids your perspective. Mars moves into Scorpio later today where it is at home in dealing with the more hidden side of conflict, intimacy and the challenges of shared resources. Theme: Dealing with practicalities, and a healing focus

The Moon moves into Virgo today bringing a focus on the earth, and healing whether it’s healing the earth, through simple acts such as gardening, or healing ourselves. Chiron opposite the Sun strengthens the healing focus on a metaphysical level. This aspect focuses our attention on any inner psychological wounds that impede our capacity to physically repair our body and mind. We are more sensitized today to our limitations in relation to others. Reflection is a helpful tool.

Theme: Reviewing relationships

With Saturn opposite Venus for the next while you can take the time to see what works and what doesn’t in your relationships with others. You may feel restrained and even corralled but it’s also an opportunity to be realistic about the limits of the possible in your dynamics with others. There is an underlying harmony between your sense of purpose and your feelings today which aids your insights. Life may have its challenges but there are also silver linings.

Sitting on the fence can only be a temporary arrangement. Behind the scenes, energetically speaking, Mars conjunct the south node square Pluto catalyzes strong reactions and varying degrees of anger. If you give into reactivity the cost will be high. Spend time tracing the origin story of past battles with yourself and others. Find healthy outlets for your energy. You have a choice to let go the past.

Theme: Self-detecting

With Mercury in good aspect to Pluto you can really drill down on your habits and patterns to find out what holds you back – or trips you up. You can become a detective for yourself! Other people have good advice today and there a harmony between the Sun and Moon today that can give you an holistic sense of purpose. You can feel pressured emotionally but it’s a passing feeling of constriction. Patience is the solution, with yourself and others.
