Theme: Pleasant, Social and Intuitive

The trine between Venus and Jupiter is almost exact today, which has mostly beneficial ramifications. The only down side is a possible tendency to sit around and be lazy and indulgent. Social occasions are favored today. And financially, it indicates good results. It is also a good day to begin a trip. The fact that both planets are in water signs gives our intuition a boost. The Moon in Taurus has a stabilizing effect on our mood and emotions as well.

Theme: From Fiery to Earthy

Today the Moon remains in fiery Aries until the evening when it moves into earthy Taurus. So our emotions, and subconscious change quickly for most of the day. It is helpful in being productive if we can balance it with enough patience. Then the Moon will be exalted in Taurus for a few days, and we will feel more secure emotionally. Mercury, representing our communication and thought, will continue to slow down until the next Mercury retrograde cycle in 5 days.

Theme: Exact!

Saturn has caught up exactly with Neptune in the first degree of Aries today. This combination makes things seem worse than they are. But can we integrate the energies? We could strike out in a new spiritual direction and bring it down to earth. The Pisces and Aries placements of many planets support new spiritual action. For several days Venus trines Jupiter which is a nice combination, but we should watch out for overindulging.

Theme: Powerful Emotions

Especially in the middle of the day the connection between the Moon and Pluto is very strong, indicating powerful emotions that will lessen later on. It is an excellent opportunity for insight in to ones self and others. Saturn has joined Neptune in Aries, which should provide more grounding in terms of our actions. With the Moon in Aquarius for a few days we will be more cool and detached except during the middle of the day, today.

Theme: Slowing Down

Not only is the planet indicating communication and thought in a dreamy, ungrounded sign, Pisces, but Mercury is also slowing in the sky as it will go retrograde on 2/26. All the other planets except Jupiter are moving forward now so there is still a bit of time to get things done with some speed. Mercury is harmonizing with Jupiter for several days which enhances all mental efforts, especially making plans for the future and getting organized.

Theme: Inching Closer

Saturn is inching closer to being right on top of Neptune in the 2 dimensional sky that we work with in astrology. This enhances the tendency to look at life from the worst point of view. Be aware that things are not as bad as they seem. In a couple of days Saturn will join Neptune in Aries. This is not a good place for Saturn but it should help ground and limit warring tendencies. The Moon opposes Jupiter in the evening which will bolster our mood.

Theme: Irritable and Rushed

For much of the day we are hurried and prone to needless disputes. This is because the Moon is square to Mars. It is best to have a physical or intellectual outlet today. Beware of any situation where an accident can occur. In the evening the danger passes and the Moon is trine to Jupiter, which gives us a sense of well-being. It will be particularly rewarding to help others at this time. This is also a day when we can be lucky in relationships.

Theme: Dreamy

Mercury has entered the sign, Pisces, for the next 2 months and 1 week (because Mercury goes retrograde in 19 days, and stays in Pisces the whole time). This enhances our imagination. This can be useful in creative work, however it can be harder to communicate clearly. We are more sensitive and pick up on the moods of others more easily. The Moon enters Scorpio in the afternoon, and we will see some things that we would rather not see for a few days. It is a good time for getting to the bottom of issues though.

Theme: Ease and Optimism

Especially during the middle of the day the Moon makes two nice aspects: trines the Sun and square Jupiter. This is a good time for group activity because of the harmony between our purpose and our emotions. We may feel energized, but will definitely feel good. We are also optimistic but should be careful not to be overbearing. Our minds are turned towards religion, philosophy and long distance travel.

Theme: Full Moon

The Moon has entered Leo and is exactly full this afternoon. This can bring up small crises, but is generally energizing. It is hard to integrate our conscious and subconscious minds, our home and professional life and our thoughts and feelings today. The Moon is in playful Leo, and the Sun is in humanitarian Aquarius. The part of fortune is opposed to Uranus, especially in the middle of the day. Something surprising and good will happen then.
