Theme: Optimism

For several more days, we should take advantage of Mercury trine Jupiter, although the challenges of Mercury retrograde continue. Our thinking is broadminded, clear and optimistic. Business activity is favored, along with the study of religion, philosophy and law. Discipline is needed to take full advantage of this energy so do not kick back and relax too much. Take time to plan for the future but don’t start acting on the plans until the last two weeks of September.

Theme: Nice to meet you

With Mars moving into Libra today, the “me first” planet is frustrated to have to put others before him. But that is Libra’s style. So our Mars energy will be challenged for several weeks now. The middle third of the day will be more positive as Jupiter adds generosity to our spirit. In the evening sparks could fly if we don’t keep our patience.

Theme: Creative and ambitious

The asteroid Pallas-Athena unites with Mercury today giving us new found creativity. The Moon is in Capricorn for a few days which fosters ambition. Can we still be warm and nurturing to others? With so many planets harmonizing in earth signs there is an an ease in working on practical matters. Be aware of the changes that are happening on a global level. Take the opportunity to make changes now when times are easier.

Theme: Transform your life

As Pluto and Mars continue to be in close harmony this flow of energy supports making positive changes. At the same time Neptune is draining our energy a bit and can contribute to deceitful action. Besides Mercury four other planets are retrograde. Generally, this is a time for research and finishing old projects. The time of year for starting anew is the upcoming winter and spring.

Theme: A Breather from Stress

The challenges from yesterday continue: Mars square the Sun and Neptune. So beware of anger and discouragement. But today the Moon is trining first Mercury, then the Sun and then Neptune. So emotionally we are more at peace, particularly in the middle third of the day. Venus and Mars are exactly 60 degrees apart today, which helps balance our assertive and relational energy. The Moon forms a yod with those two planets in the evening bring back some stress.

Theme: Energy, Anger, and Discouragement

Mars is at a challenging angle to Neptune and the Sun. On the one hand we have extra vigor. Yet the Neptune-Mars square can zap our energy, if we are ego driven. This is really an excellent opportunity for prayer, meditation and compassionate action, if we can be patient and truly altruistic. The Moon is in Scorpio for two days giving us penetrating insight. Just know when to be gentle and when to lighten up.

Theme: Organizing the Mystical?

Saturn, the planet of pragmatism and restriction, has entered Pisces, the sign of mystical transcendence. This will be a challenging 2 1/2 years. The best approach is to make practical changes in our prayer, meditation and compassionate actions. The pitfalls are despair, cynicism and cruelty. The Moon is at the apex of a yod with Mercury and Uranus in the middle third of the day. Be patient with ourselves and others as we negotiate our emotional, subconscious side.

Theme: Stimulating

As the Sun approaches exactly 60 degrees from Uranus our minds are stimulated today. We can learn more than usual from everyday encounters. This is a day to act freely, not to be painstakingly disciplined. There is a nice balance in the 4 elements that the planets are in now. But there is a focus on spiritual surrender, Pisces, and immediate action, Aries. Can we act according to our values today?

Theme: Well-Being

Especially in the middle of the day, the Moon is trine Jupiter, which is a very beneficial transit. We are broadminded, tolerant and generous. The restricting effect that Saturn had on our thinking and communication has lifted today as well. Our energy shifts late in the day as the Moon squares Uranus. We will be hastier, and jump to conclusions. We will also crave excitement.
