Theme: Brilliant minds

As Mercury moves ever closer to Uranus there is increasing opportunity for making connections between disparate ideas and incisive insights – especially if you have the freedom to think freely. Because the Mercury Uranus conjunction is taking place in Taurus there will also be some resistance to change and new ideas. With the Sun and Moon both in Aries there is much enthusiasm and barreling ahead going on.

Venus, the planet of relationships has just moved into Gemini bringing more flexibility and a lighter touch to your relationships. Theme: Get fresh air

There is an absence of the air element the last few days which has made it harder to stand back and discern what’s going on. Put another way, you’re likely to be more partisan at this time. And with the Moon void of course for most of the day it’s more of a ‘reflect and regroup’ day. The Moon opposite Neptune also gives an indeterminate quality to the day. Air comes tumbling in when the Moon moves into Libra in around 6 hours time. Remember to breathe in, breathe out!

Theme: Speech patterns

With Mercury about to leave the sign of Aries and move into Taurus – direct speech gets replaced by blunt speech. Taurus, like all earth signs, doesn’t do word-play! Rather, communication is grounded in reality. Although Taurus does favor beauty, and this can flow into speech, it’s more of a case of an iron fist in a velvet glove kind of thing. The Moon is also in an earth sign (Virgo) bringing energy to work with the earth: think of gardening and medicinal plants.
