People say ridiculous things early in the morning. Smile, pretend you didn’t hear and forget about it. This includes anything you may say. A serious energy develops during the day, and you must choose between your feelings and the requirements of your position. A split between family or home and the world pulls you in two directions. It seems you can’t attend to both, but you must. Switch back and forth gracefully between the two. Frustration continues to be a problem, you’ll recognize it by the stress you feel. “If you want to give God a good laugh, tell Him your plans,” according to a Yiddish proverb. That’s how today feels. The word “feel” appears frequently these days, and it’s because feelings are heightened by planetary influences. Expect to spend time discussing your feelings and listening to others’ feelings. If something is lost, or you feel you’ve been taken advantage of, relax, neither is true. What’s good today? Talking, reading, the news. Siblings and neighbors are wonderful, shopping is good and food is amazingly satisfying.

You have a choice between anger and happiness today, between stinginess and generosity. Choose happiness and generosity! You may leave things that aren’t intrinsically satisfying. Life gets better, not worse, as you do this. Why? You let go of non-productive habits and act more in accordance with your true wishes. Carlos Castaneda said “Any habit needs all its parts in order to function. If some parts are missing, the habit is disassembled.” It’s all up to you. Happiness enters the picture as the day progresses. A meeting with friends or family is great. Cook, talk, have a ball. Emotional generosity is in the picture, spread it around. An early conversation or communication establishes a sense of certainty; you got the message. This is a good day to begin a delayed trip. Things you planned but didn’t get around to doing can be done now. If you feel like you’re living in the past, you are! Get busy on the long-postponed home improvement project, call family members and make contact with children. Be prepared to listen to long stories of people’s childhood years.(“And now, let me tell you of my childhood in Lithuania.”) Take turns talking and listening. Expect to cry or at least sniffle. Everyone’s on a sentimental journey. Write your memoirs! Avoid any brand new plan that pops up, it will come to nothing. Don’t buy cars or machines unless you contracted in advance. Do your best to avoid debates, protests or any form of public dissent, it can suddenly blow up into something bigger than you ever imagined. But do express your love to those who matter to you. Enduring love, the kind that brings great comfort and solid sleep at night, is here.
